· The Coating line is equipped with:
- 60" diameter single position shaftless unwind with hydraulic roll lift
- 12" Montalvo disc brake with mounting plate for second brake
- 6" chucks
- Montalvo System 3000 automatic tension controller with load cell, Mayer rod coating head with 118" coating roll
- Electric driven rod
- Coating pan level sensor
- 30 new rods
- Werko Machine (CMS / Dahlgren type) moisturizer with 120" roll face
- 72" Radiant Energy IR dryer with 60"
- 90" & 120" web width settings
- Sensor at IR exit for temperature control
· 60 ft. ASI Dryer with two 30 ft. zones:
- Tendency driven idler rolls, nozzles for top only, variable speed fan in zone 1, single speed fan in zone 2, Maxson burners, temperatures up to 375 degrees F with typical operation at 200 - 250 degrees F
- Kamberoller type edge guide at dryer exit with Accuguide Micro 4000 controller, two (2) 16" diameter chill rolls, Werko Machine (CMS / Dahlgren type) moisturizer with 120" roll face.
- Accumulator with ten (10) 8" diameter carbon fiber rolls, bowed roll at exit, score slitting station with 4 holders
· 24" diameter 3 position turret rewind with manual splice, air operated lay on roll, 3" diameter lug type rewind air shafts, roll unloading tree on each side of turret, EDC Systems drives & controls up grade in 2004 to include Siemens Simoreg drives & Allen Bradley Contrologix PLC, 480/3/60 power with 75 kVA isolation transformer, all rolls contacting coated side of web are plasma coated, some spare parts.
